The two models which appeared on the Asus website for RTX 3080 TI are ROG Strix RTX 3080 Ti 20G and ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 Ti OC Edition(RTX 3080 TI O20G). The RTX 3080 TI OC edition will be factory overclocked, and the other one will work on reference clocks. TX 3080 TI OC edition will be a little price than the standard version due to its overclocking feature.
Asus has confirmed that RTX 3080 TI will have 20 GB GDDR6x Ram, which is between the RTX 3080 having 10GB DDR6x and RTX 3090, which has 24GB, GDDR6x Ram.

So if anyone cannot afford the high pricing of RTX 3090, which is starting from 1500$, and want a graphics card of more than 10GB of DDR6x Ram, he can go for RTX 3080 TI.
The RTX 3080 TI pricing is not yet confirmed, but it will probably be around 1000$ or even could be more than 1000$. But as RTX 3080 TI is the direct competitor of Radeon RX 6900 XT, Nvidia cannot go more than that, which has the pricing of 999$.

According to leaked specifications, the CUDA cores of RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 TI will be the same which is 10496 for the RTX 3090, and RTX 3080 has 8704 CUDA cores.
If we compare other RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 TI specifications, then the Tensor cores of RTX 3080 TI are 1024, almost double then the RTX 3080 tensor cores, which are 576.
RTX 3080 TI has 8192 GPU cores, while RTX 3080 TI has just 576 GPU cores. If we will talk about the VRAM speed, then it is the same for both, which is 16 Gbps, and also, there is no difference in the transistor sizes.
But it would be best if you kept in mind that still these specifications of RTX 3080 TI are leaked, and most probably, there will be the same specifications on release, but we cannot guarantee you that these cannot be changed.
